Technical Advice

Do you have a technical query on your accessibility design or a compliance issue to resolve?  Perhaps you're an innovative creator and would like to future-proof your design by looking beyond the minimum legislative requirements?

Inspire Access offers up to 15 minutes of free advice on general accessibility enquiries.

Email us through the Request a Service form, call, or send us a message through our Facebook page, all details of which can be found adjacent.

Whether it is an existing alteration or a new build, we provide technical information and direction to achieve compliance and beyond including documentation required by the Building Consent Authority.

Avoid those extra re-design costs by engaging us early in your design process or even if you're near completion, utilise our Building Consent Authority experience to achieve the results you require to gain approval.

    • post-construction

    • a code compliance inspection
  • a technical report for:

If so, we can provide you with:

  • a design stage assessment - from a high-level summary of key design elements through to step-by-step details to progress the design to the next stage
  • an accessibility audit report - a detailed review of the design, including a site audit if applicable, addressing minimum compliance requirements and recommendations for better practice
  • an opinion - a statement or short report providing technical justification and recommendations to achieve compliance, for example when a Building Consent Authority requires additional documentation.
